Langara College International Entrance Awards 2023/24

International students are eligible to apply for the Langara College Canada 2023–2024 International Entrance Awards. Undergraduate studies in any discipline taught at Langara College Vancouver are eligible for the award. 

In order to provide financial assistance to overseas students pursuing higher education at Langara College, the overseas entrance award was founded.

Only students who score very well on the IELTS are eligible for scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria

Recipients will:

  • get permission to enroll at Langara as an international student (holder of a study permit).
  • have been granted admission after fulfilling all prerequisites.
  • Aim to enroll in an undergraduate degree in regular studies full-time, meaning nine credits or more.
  • possess an IELTS score of 7.0 (no bands below 6.5). Note that inhabitants of English-speaking nations who have finished their formal schooling may be excluded from this requirement. English course grades will be taken into account.
  • own a B+ average from their prior school, which translates to a 3.33 or 76% GPA (high school or post-secondary). Note that current high school students may submit transcripts for Grade 11 or Grade 12 for consideration if they are interim students.
